Queen Jocasta was married to her husband Laius and were the rulers of the land of Thebes. Queen Jocasta married the
man who lifted the plague off of her kingdom once her huesband died. That man happened to have been her son that she thought
was killed when he was younger. When her and her husband were younger they gave away their child and was told that he was
killed. They gave their child away because they were told the prophecy from the gods and they tried avoiding it by getting
rid of their first born. Unfortunately Jocasta ended up marrying her son Oedipus and when the secret was revealed by the shepard and
the messenger, Queen Jocasta hung herself and ended her life because she couldn't bare to look at her self or her family
